Ultimate Chocolate Chip Brownies
Rich, decadent brownies with a perfect fudgy texture that melts in your mouth.
Recipe makes 12 large brownies.
Ingredients
- 230g/8.1oz salted butter
- 450g/15.8oz caster sugar
- 200g/7oz milk chocolate (made for cooking)
- 5 medium eggs
- 110g/4oz plain flour
- 60g/2.1oz cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190*C (375*F)/ 170C Fan/ Gas 5. Line baking tray with baking paper.
- In a medium pan, slowly melt the butter.
- Gradually add the sugar into the butter until combined.
- Break chocolate and stir in until melted, then remove pan from the heat
- Beats the eggs in.
- Stir in the dry ingredients, and whisk until smooth.
- Pour the brownie mixture into the baking tray.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is slightly firm and there is still a slight wobble in the center.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool, once cooled remove from tin and cut brownies into your desired size (I usually do 12).
